Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• State certification as Dental Assistant Radiographer is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
• Certification requirements may vary by assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assessments and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic radiographs.
• Obtain alginate impressions for diagnostic use.
• Handle administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain dental equipment and supplies and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain examination areas and assist in OR settings as needed.
