Aspen Dental is seeking a Patient Care Consultant (Internal title: Operations Lead/Assistant Manager) to guide patients through treatment plans, explain options, and help secure financing for care in a patient-first, consultative role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in patient coordination, consultative sales, healthcare, customer service, retail sales, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all backgrounds.
• Ability to explain complex information in a simple, patient-friendly manner.
• Comfort discussing insurance, financing, and payment options.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM, scheduling, or patient management systems preferred.
• Patient-first attitude with empathy, professionalism, and active listening skills.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet one-on-one with patients to review treatment plans and recommendations.
• Explain treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial solutions clearly.
• Build trust by addressing questions, concerns, and barriers to treatment.
• Create and present customized payment and financing options.
• Use consultative communication to help patients decide about their care.
• Partner with doctors and team to deliver a seamless, patient-first experience.
• Track consultations, treatment acceptance, and follow-up activity in PM and CRM tools.
• Leverage performance metrics to improve patient outcomes and practice performance.
• Support appointment scheduling, treatment coordination, insurance verification, and collections.
