The ideal candidate has experience in a front desk role, excellent customer service skills, works well with others, is open to feedback, and has a positive attitude.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Role Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
  • Manage front office duties such as answering phones, handling mail and emails, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • File insurance claims, follow up on claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
  • Post payments and manage accounts receivable.
  • Review treatment fees and payment options with patients.
  • Partner with providers to implement systems that optimize office potential.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must adhere to HIPAA training and data safeguards to protect PHI.
Preferred Experience
  • Over 1 year in a dental or medical setting.
  • Experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
  • Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic training sessions.
  • TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
