Bonita Dental Arts in Bonita Springs, FL, is looking for a full-time Dental Front Office-Business Assistant to join our team.

Our office is fast-paced, so we're seeking someone who can multi-task efficiently while paying close attention to details. A quick learner, open to learning and feedback, is essential.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (candidate must be able to work this schedule).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive first impression.
  • Manage front office duties: answering phones, checking mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • File insurance claims and follow up on claims, benefits, and coverage.
  • Post payments and process accounts receivable.
  • Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
  • Partner with providers to implement systems that optimize office potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle PHI securely, with HIPAA training required.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years in dental or medical setting.
  • 1+ years in insurance billing/accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Availability for periodic training sessions.
  • TB test required prior to employment, except in FL & TN.
