Job summary

Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is seeking a courteous Patient Coordinator to join our team. The role will float between Maple Grove and Coon Rapids locations, supporting patient scheduling, check-in, and front-office operations.

You will greet patients, collect demographics, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure efficient visits while maintaining privacy and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a dental or medical office preferred; experience with oral surgery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and work to fill empty schedule time.
• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.
• Register new patients and update existing patient demographics, collecting detailed personal and financial information with attention to detail.
• Coordinate patient needs with the clinical team to minimize wait times and improve the patient experience.
• Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and protecting sensitive information.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office and reception area for a welcoming environment.
• Take and relay messages for providers and staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Oversee timely processing of mail and other administrative tasks supporting daily operations.
• Travel between Maple Grove and Coon Rapids locations as needed.
