Qualifications

• Track record of clean, successful claim submissions.
• Ability to train and support teammates across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own claim follow-up for all offices: chase denials, underpayments, and aging reports.
• Lead insurance verification process and train new hires on systems and protocols.
• Submit clean claims to minimize rejections and resubmissions.
• Investigate denials and discrepancies to identify root causes.

American Dental Network is growing, and we need an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to lead claim follow-up and insurance verification across all 6 of our locations. If you speak fluent "EOB," get a little thrill from a perfectly clean claim, and love helping teammates level up their skills, this is your chance to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

• Own claim follow-up for all 6 offices: work the aging reports, chase down denials and rejections, and recover every underpayment
• Lead our insurance verification process and train new hires on our systems and protocols
• Submit clean claims that keep rejections and resubmissions to a minimum
• Dig into denials, spot discrepancies, and figure out exactly what went wrong
• Navigate carrier portals like a pro to check claim status, benefits, and payment details
• Coach our front office teams on verification, claim submission, and insurance best practices
• Break down insurance coverage in plain language for both team members and patients
• Be the go-to insurance expert for our entire organization
• Support credentialing and re-credentialing for our providers
• Run our AI-powered verification platform, AirPay
• Help manage insurance setup in Denticon, including maintaining and mapping fee schedules and creating insurance carriers

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or in dental billing
• Deep knowledge of major dental carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Confidence reading EOBs and working insurance portals
• A track record of clean, successful claim submissions
• A knack for training and supporting people across multiple locations
• A sharp eye for detail (nothing slips past you!)
• Self-motivation and the ability to juggle priorities independently
• Strong, friendly communication skills
• Bonus points for experience with DentalXChange and AirPay
