Utah Smile Clinic is seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Specialist to join our on-site team in Utah. You will work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate processing, timely reimbursement, and exceptional patient service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of dental insurance, billing, or claims management experience, strong knowledge of policies and procedures, and excellent communication skills. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dental insurance, billing, or claims management experience.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies, procedures, and terminology.
• Experience with insurance verification, claim submission, and appeals.
• Excellent problem-solving and claims resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify and document dental insurance benefits and coverage.
• Submit dental insurance claims and electronic attachments.
• Prepare detailed narratives to support claim submissions.
• Process pre-authorizations and predeterminations.
• Research and resolve denied or delayed claims.
• Prepare and submit insurance appeals.
• Post insurance payments accurately.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims and accounts receivable.
• Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, patients, and team members.
• Maintain accurate patient insurance records and documentation.

Position Overview

As our Dental Insurance Specialist, you will work on-site with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate insurance processing, timely reimbursement, and outstanding support for our patients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of dental insurance plans, claims management, and accounts receivable follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and document dental insurance benefits and coverage
• Submit dental insurance claims and electronic attachments
• Prepare detailed narratives to support claim submissions
• Process pre-authorizations and predeterminations
• Research and resolve denied or delayed claims
• Prepare and submit insurance appeals
