Job summary

Utah Smile Clinic is hiring an Experienced Dental Insurance Specialist to work on-site and ensure accurate insurance processing for patients. You will support the team with claims management, pre-authorizations, and follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in dental insurance or billing, strong knowledge of plans and procedures, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced dental setting. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dental insurance, billing, or claims management experience.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies, procedures, and terminology.
• Experience with insurance verification, claim submission, and appeals.
• Excellent problem-solving and claims resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient service.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Position Overview

As our Dental Insurance Specialist, you will work on-site with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate insurance processing, timely reimbursement, and outstanding support for our patients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of dental insurance plans, claims management, and accounts receivable follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and document dental insurance benefits and coverage
• Submit dental insurance claims and electronic attachments
• Prepare detailed narratives to support claim submissions
• Process pre-authorizations and predeterminations
