Major/Essential Functions

• Professionally clean teeth including prophies and scaling androot planing
• Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene
• Captures digital radiographs
• Administers topical fluoride
• Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment
• Sterilizes dental instruments according to OSHAregulations
• Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily countsand logs
• Serve as Dental Assistant when needed
• Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual andautomated systems
• Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timelymanner
• Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timelymanner
