Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care on Army and Air Force bases. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, documentation, and collaboration with a mission-driven team.

You will perform prophylaxis, document periodontal findings, apply preventive agents, and contribute to treatment planning. A strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and team communication is required.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license required.
• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Familiarity with Denticon; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement.
• Assess and document periodontal conditions (gingivitis, periodontitis).
• Apply fluoride and preventive agents.
• Record clinical findings to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction.
• Obtain dental radiographs and impressions; maintain records.
• Communicate findings clearly to patients; participate in team meetings.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement


• Assess and document periodontal conditions, including gingivitis and periodontitis


• Apply fluoride and preventive therapeutic agents


• Record clinical findings and support diagnosis and treatment planning


• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction


• Obtain dental radiographs and impressions; maintain accurate clinical records


• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to patients


• Participate in required daily and weekly team meetings

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license


• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience


• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification


• Familiarity with Denticon preferred; training provided


• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA compliance


• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
