Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a mission‑driven team serving military families on Army and Air Force bases.

The role involves welcoming patients, assisting during procedures, keeping a sterilized environment, and supporting dentists with setup and cleanup. X-ray/CPR—BLS certifications required, a state certification is mandatory, and a Real ID license is needed before start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• Current Dental Assistant certification as required by state.
• X-ray and CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Real ID driver’s license before start date.
• Preferred: EDDA and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional experience for patients.
• Prepare and assist patients during dental procedures.
• Support dentists with setup, chairside assistance, and cleanup.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Utilize dental software and equipment to support efficient care.
• Handle clerical tasks and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Utilize dental software and equipment to support efficient care.
• Handle clerical tasks and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant certification (In the state you are applying to).
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray and CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
• Preferred: Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and/or Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications.
