Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our mission-driven team, serving military families on Army and Air Force bases. You’ll provide preventive care in a family-oriented environment with modern technology, supporting diagnosis and treatment planning.

The role focuses on prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, radiographs, patient education, and teamwork in daily/weekly meetings, with HIPAA compliance and potential Denticon training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Active RDH license and X-ray certification.
• CPR/BLS certification in good standing.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and privacy rules.
• Real ID driver’s license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement.
• Assess and document periodontal conditions, including gingivitis and periodontitis.
• Apply fluoride and preventive therapeutic agents.
• Record clinical findings and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction.
• Obtain dental radiographs and impressions; maintain accurate clinical records.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to patients.
• Participate in required daily and weekly team meetings.

Schedule

Thursday & Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement

• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Kentucky.
• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
• Familiarity with Denticon preferred; training provided
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA compliance
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
