DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Fort Drum team. You will perform hygiene services, take x-rays, and educate patients on maintaining oral health. The role emphasizes patient care and collaboration with the dental team.

The position requires an active RDH license, 1–2 years of hygiene experience, X-ray certification, CPR/BLS, and a Real ID before starting. Office hours include Saturdays, with expectations to engage in daily team huddles.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• 1–2 years of experience in dental hygiene.
• X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA knowledge is required.
• Real ID prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Clean teeth and remove deposits beneath gum margins.
• Identify and assess conditions such as gingivitis and periodontitis.
• Apply fluoride and other agents to prevent cavities.
• Chart conditions for diagnosis and assist the dentist with treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and educate patients on oral health maintenance.
• Take dental x-rays, impressions, and keep accurate patient records.
• Build rapport with patients and communicate effectively.
• Participate in daily and weekly team huddles.

• Saturdays: 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Your Key Responsibilities
