Dental Associates of CT is seeking a Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our CT practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality prophylaxis, radiographs, and patient education in a welcoming, professional environment.

Requirements include an ASSOCIATE's degree in dental hygiene, CT RDH license, and strong communication. Availability on Wednesdays and Fridays aligns with our current office hours.

Formación

• Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program is required.
• Valid CT RDH license is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Available to work on listed days (Wednesday and Friday).

Responsabilidades

• Perform dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, fluoride and sealants.
• Detect disease via oral cancer screening and periodontal assessment.
• Take x-rays as recommended by the ADA.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Document vital signs and dental histories in patient charts.

Currently, we are looking for a Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
• Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral health
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
• Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts
• Sterilization of equipment
• Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

Salary Description
