Care Dental Center in Connecticut is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. The ideal candidate works well in a team, earns the trust of patients, and brings strong hygiene skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling, radiography, patient education, and maintaining accurate records. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; shifts are Monday through Thursday, 9am–5pm, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and valid CT RDH license.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish for patient communication.
• Recent graduates welcome and able to work in a team.
• Knowledge of dental software and office protocol.

Responsabilités

• Perform dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride and sealants.
• Detect disease via oral cancer screening, gum assessment, and periodontal evaluation.
• Select materials and equipment based on patient oral health.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Document hygiene services with vital signs and histories in patient charts.
• Sterilize equipment and take necessary x-rays as advised by ADA.

Currently, we are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
• Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oral health
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
• Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts
• Sterilization of equipment
• Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines

• Must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently
• Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Valid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)

Salary Description

$52-$55/hour
