Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a caring Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team and help children develop healthy habits in a fun, supportive setting.

We offer a 4-day work week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) with compensation at $70.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have MD licensure, a dental hygiene degree, CPR/BLS, and a passion for pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygiene license in Maryland.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children of all ages.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to create a fun experience for our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients.
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
• Perform fluoride treatments and other preventive procedures.
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and cavity prevention.
• Create a positive, comfortable, and age-appropriate experience for patients.
• Assist with behavior guidance and help children feel comfortable during their visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with parents, the dentist, and the dental team.
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
