Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Baltimore, MD seeks a caring, enthusiastic Dental Hygienist for a pediatric-focused practice. This full-time role is four days per week with a friendly, patient-centered environment focused on prevention and education for young patients.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, maintains Maryland licensure, and collaborates with a supportive dental team to provide outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygiene license in Maryland.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate and comfortable working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients.
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations.
• Perform fluoride treatments and other preventive procedures.
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and cavity prevention.
• Create a positive, comfortable, and age-appropriate experience for patients.
• Assist with behavior guidance and help children feel comfortable during visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with parents, the dentist, and the dental team.
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental practice 4 days per week.

Our office is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment. We are seeking a hygienist who genuinely enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping young patients develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
