Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking a reliable Dental Hygienist to join Smiles Pediatric Dental Care in Bowie, MD (with locations in Lanham or Largo). You will deliver high-quality care to children and support families in a fun, stress-free visit.

This full-time role offers a starting pay of $65/hour, a team-oriented environment, and benefits including 401K, PTO & holiday pay, CE funding, and referral bonuses. Experience with Denticon or iTero is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current license and graduation from a dental hygiene program.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred; we will train the right person.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.
• Full-time role (30+ hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic.
• Screen patients, take medical history and vital signs.
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception and routine office duties.

Requirements:

• Current license & graduation from a dental hygiene school is required

A Typical Day as a Dental Hygienist:

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis
• Deliver high quality patient care
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic
• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take patient vital signs
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Saturday's
• Daytime hours - No nights!
