Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group seeks a Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric team in Bowie, Lanham, or Largo, MD. This full-time role (30+ hours/week) requires a current dental hygiene license and graduation from a dental hygiene program.

The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and compassionate, with a teamwork mindset. Training is available, and Denticon or iTero experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license and graduation from a dental hygiene school is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but we will train the right person!
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic.
• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take patient vital signs.
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required.
