Job summary

Veale Dentistry, an office within Archway Dental Partners, seeks a licensed Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts for full-time or part-time hours in a welcoming, patient-focused practice.

Responsibilities include prophylaxis, SRP, fluoride, sealants, and X-rays per ADA; patient education; charting; sterilization; and adherence to office protocols. MA RDH license and associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride and sealants.
• Detect disease via oral cancer screening and periodontal assessment.
• Select materials for hygiene visits based on patient oral health.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Document hygiene services and patient histories in charts.
• Sterilize equipment and take X-rays as needed per ADA guidelines.

Currently, we are looking for a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
• Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oral health
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
• Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts

• Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

Requirements
