Boulevard Dentistry, part of Archway Dental Partners, is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist in Connecticut. You will provide comprehensive dental hygiene care in a relaxed, patient-focused environment across two offices in West Hartford and Avon.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene, a valid Connecticut RDH license, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. Office hours are split between locations with weekday shifts.

Mansioni

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling/root planing, fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by performing oral cancer screening and gum assessment
• Select materials and equipment for hygiene visits based on patient health
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions
• Document hygiene services by recording vital signs and histories
• Sterilize equipment
• Take x-rays as needed and per ADA recommendations

At Boulevard Dentistry, an office within Archway Dental Partners, our mission is to provide quality dental and personal care to all our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment in which patients feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and confident in the care that they are receiving. We believe that satisfying all of our patients' needs is our most important goal. We employ dentists in the specialties of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. Currently, we are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
• Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient’s oral health
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
• Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts
• Sterilization of equipment
• Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Valid license to practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)
• Ability to commute to our location in West Hartford and Avion
• Available to work within current office hours, specific shifts to be determined:

Available to work the following hours (this position is split between two offices)

• Monday - 8am - 5pm (West Hartford)
• Tuesday - 8am - 5pm (West Hartford)
• Thursday - 8am - 5pm (Avon)
• Friday - 9am - 3pm (Avon)
