Veale Dentistry, an Archway Dental Partners office in Massachusetts, seeks a Dental Hygienist (full-time or part-time) to deliver quality preventive care in a welcoming, patient-friendly environment. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride/sealants, x-rays, charting and patient education.

MA RDH license and Dentrix Ascend experience preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential; recent grads welcomed, flexible shifts available.

Responsabilidades

• Perform dental hygiene services: prophylaxis, scaling/root planning, fluoride and sealants.
• Detect disease via oral cancer screening and periodontal assessment.
• Select materials for hygiene visit based on patient oral health.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions.
• Document hygiene services in patient charts.
• Sterilize equipment.
• Take x-rays as recommended by the ADA.

We employ dentists in the specialties of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. Currently, we are looking for a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our family. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic and be a team player. Recent graduates are welcomed!

Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, application of fluoride and sealants
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession
• Selection of materials and equipment for dental hygiene visit by evaluating patient's oral health
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions
• Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient charts
• Sterilization of equipment
• Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

Salary Description
