Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Business Assistant for Innovative Orthodontic Centers in Naperville to greet patients and manage front office tasks. The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and patient-first service while supporting insurance and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Access to PHI and HIPAA training will be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail, emails, and insurance communications.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on claims and benefits.
• Post payments and process accounts receivable.
• Discuss treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
