Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-5 years of customer service, insurance, or dental experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental software and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial information with accuracy and perform insurance verification; prepare end-of-day reports.
• Perform clerical tasks: sorting mail, scanning, photocopying; answer phones and greet visitors; schedule, verify, and confirm appointments.
• Explain procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.
• Present financial policies and collect co-payments; verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
• Track appointments due to no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals.
