Job summary

Virginia Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Front Desk Specialty Coordinator with periodontics and endodontics experience to join our team in Glen Allen, VA. The role focuses on managing specialty schedules, patient greetings, and routine administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Typical hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with pay ranging from $19 to $24 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years dental office experience with specialty (perio, endo).
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review specialist’s schedule daily to fill any open appointment times.
• Confirm, schedule, and follow up on unscheduled appointments
• Answer telephones and check office emails daily
• Run new patient report and make follow up and treatment calls
• Ensure all patient charts are up to date with necessary information for their appointment
• Partner with Insurance Coordinator on any pre-treatment cost estimations
• Send insurance remaining letters
• Help the general dentistry team as needed
