Job summary

Fusion Dental of Waldorf, part of Heartland Dental, is hiring a Dental Receptionist to join our front office team. You will greet patients and manage calls, mail and emails, while coordinating with insurance companies and providers.

You’ll use Dentrix for scheduling, patient records, and payment processing, and you’ll support multiple providers with a patient-first approach. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: answer phones, mail/email, and coordinate with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records, and schedule/confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments, process accounts receivable, and review treatment plan fees and payment options.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
