Job summary

Project HOME is seeking a Dental Patient Services Representative in Philadelphia to greet patients, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and handle registrations and payments with care and trauma-informed practices.

You will support clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth visits, maintain accurate records, and help patients navigate care while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of receptionist, scheduling, or patient services experience in a dental office.
• Experience using a dental practice management or electronic dental record system (eClinicalWorks or similar).
• Working knowledge of dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone with professionalism and compassion.
• Schedule, register, and check in patients according to guidelines.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments when possible.
• Collect copayments and patient balances; process receipts.
• Support daily clinic workflow by coordinating with clinical and operations staff.
