Northeast Pediatric Dental - NEW is actively seeking a full-time front desk receptionist for a single-doctor practice serving the community for over 35 years. This role features a 5-day work week with one evening on alternating weeks and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in dental/medical office with Dentrix software preferred.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Scheduling patient for new and follow up appointments
• Confirming appointments and answering office communications (phone calls, emails, text messages, etc)
• Providing insurance coverage estimates and verification of coverage
• Collecting payments, co-payments and deductibles
• Filing and following up with insurance claims, entering paid claims in patient management software
• Submitting pre-authorizations to insurance companies
• Pulling patient charts for upcoming appointments
• Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order
• Assisting with explaining treatment plans
• Maintaining a clean and professional office environment
