Job summary

Bedi Dental Group in Worcester, MA is seeking a highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our established practice. The ideal candidate will excel at patient communication, manage front desk duties, and act as a concierge for the practice.

You will multitask in a fast-paced environment, schedule appointments, verify insurance options, collect co-payments, and support providers with a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred for eligibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers for word processing and records management; experience with dental software desirable.
• Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as front-of-house concierge for patients, greeting and addressing concerns with empathy.
• Excellent phone skills, ability to handle multiple calls while managing front desk duties.
• Booking and managing a live schedule to maximize daily appointments and office productivity.
• Verifying patient insurance options and copays.
• Consulting with patients on treatment plans and collecting co-payments.
• Reliable and accountable for personal schedule and time management.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at the front desk.
• Maintaining a positive attitude with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently.
