Job summary

Familia Dental & Vivid Smiles in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for either part-time or full-time roles. You will greet patients, check in, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and handle patient records in a fast-paced, community-oriented practice.

Ideal candidates are friendly, professional, and organized with strong multitasking and customer service skills. Dental software familiarity is preferred; some training is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer/patient service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand information and effectively present information one-on-one with patients.
• Basic computer knowledge; experience with dental management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients.
• Answering the phone and scheduling appointments.
• Maintain patient accounts and records.
• Know and understand insurance plan rules and protocols and able to follow them.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
• Submit claims to insurance companies.
• Attend and participate in morning huddles and office meetings.
