Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a dental billing patient access specialist to serve as the first point of contact for dental practice patients. You will gather and analyze patient demographic and payor data to help secure accurate and timely reimbursement.

You will ensure patient registration, scheduling, pre-certification and authorization for services while upholding MetroHealth's mission, values and customer service standards in a high-volume dental office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; ability to complete high school equivalency.
• One year of related experience.
• Current CHAA certification.
• Education related to dental billing or patient registration from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as preliminary contact for dental practice patients.
• Gather/analyze patient demographic and payor data to optimize reimbursement for The MetroHealth System.
• Ensure patient registration, scheduling, pre-certification, and authorization for services.
• Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
