Job summary

Promise Healthcare is seeking a Dental Supervisor to lead the dental department's day-to-day operations. You will supervise dental assistants and patient service representatives, manage staff performance, and ensure care quality in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Oral Health Director, maintaining EDR system usage, and overseeing inventory and scheduling to support efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
• Must read and interpret data accurately and document clearly.
• Experience with dental assisting and supervisory roles preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (NextGen) and Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the dental department and supervise staff.
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
• Facilitate patient access to dental providers and resolve patient issues.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, OIG and related regulations.
• Oversee EDR usage and staff training on it; coordinate with leadership on QA activities.
• Coordinate staff meetings and regular performance feedback.
• Support quality improvement and chart/documentation accuracy.
