Job summary

CORE MDSO in San Diego, CA, seeks a Dental CFO and CPA to lead the financial strategy across its dental practices. This full-time, on-site role focuses on planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and reliable financial reporting while ensuring GAAP compliance.

You will supervise accounting functions, partner with clinical and operations leaders to drive profitability, manage taxes, and support growth initiatives including new practice integrations.

Qualifications

• CPA license and senior finance experience (CFO/Controller) in dental/healthcare or multisite service organizations.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience with GAAP, tax planning for professional service entities; multi-location operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and reporting for multiple dental offices.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and implement internal controls.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership to optimize profitability.
• Support growth initiatives including new practice integrations and capital projects.
• Mentor finance team and coordinate with external auditors and banking partners.
