Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with dentists and educate patients on treatment options and financial paths. The role emphasizes helping patients accept treatment with urgency and delivering a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).

You will support clinicians and maintain productive schedules across offices. The position requires a GED or high school diploma, travel between offices may be needed, and knowledge of insurance processes is valuable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to travel between offices may be required.
• Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.
• Knowledge of office practices and patient insurances is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values, and standards in daily work.
• Gain financial commitment from patients to start recommended dentistry.
• Achieve proficiency with the PDS system and assist patients in decisions.
• Execute HC handoffs with clinicians for each exam patient.
• Be the subject matter expert on financial options to fit patient budgets.
• Overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations when needed prior to treatment.
• Ensure the office demonstrates the Comprehensive Care Model in daily operations.
• Actively participate in daily huddles and team meetings.
• Understand how the role impacts key metrics and results.
