Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with dental services, referrals and authorizations preferred.
• At least 1 year of dental office experience is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Participation in continued education is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of dental treatment plans, including incomplete plans, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations for services as required by plans.
• Coordinate with billing and dental staff on PA submissions and denied authorizations.
• Document care coordination and relevant clinical information in the EHR.
• Communicate updates to patients and providers and maintain patient confidentiality.
