Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental insurance experience preferred.
• Familiar with dental CDT codes and EOBs.
• Medical billing background considered as well.
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems and payer portals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proactive, self-starter, strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Enter and update insurance information in patient accounts.
• Use payer portals to research and confirm benefits.
• Upload insurance documents into electronic patient files.
• Review CDT codes and EOBs.
• Maintain accurate patient account notes.
• Use Cloud 9 and Denticon practice management software.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth insurance processes.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA requirements.
