Ideal candidates have active CPR/AED, Arizona X-Ray certification, and good communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; benefits include PTO, medical, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CPR and AED training.
• Must have an X-Ray Certification from the State of Arizona or DANB.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Dental practice management software experience helpful (Open Dental/Dentrix).
• Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certifications are a huge plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as priority one.
• Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste promptly and safely.
• Maintaining digital patient artifacts such as health history, insurance eligibility, and treatment plans.
• Educating patients and parents on the benefits of good oral health.
• Monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being during the visit.
• Preparing tray setups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures.
• Ensuring exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, organized, and stocked.
• Charting existing treatment for new patients and updating patient charts.
• Reviewing patient chart and health history prior to doctor arrival.
• Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart.
• Helping the Rodeo Team clean surfaces and common areas.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
