Job summary

Artistic Smiles is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll greet patients, review health histories, and assist Dentists with a wide range of procedures using iTero 3D scanning and digital photography.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (as required by state).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
