Smile Design Arcadia is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Heartland Dental supported team. This position offers a patient‑centered environment with state‑of‑the‑art technology and strong camaraderie.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays (iTero) and assist dentists with four‑handed dentistry. Proficiency with Dentrix, safety protocols, and HIPAA compliance are essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with up-to-date x-ray certification.
• Experience in fast-paced dental office and patient service.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate them through treatment journey.
• Review health history to inform care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic data (iTero, photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland systems.
• Support office workflow and patient experience.
