Heartland Dental LLC is seeking a Dental Assistant for Thomasville Road Dental Care in Florida. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-5pm. Join a team that prioritizes patient care and continuous learning in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You will greet patients, take x-rays, provide four-handed chairside assistance, and manage scheduling and inventory while adhering to safety guidelines and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Florida x-ray certificate required.
• Proactive, coachable and flexible.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supply and inventory; place and expedite orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize workflow.
