Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC seeks a Dental Assistant for Dentistry of Miami to join a supportive team. You’ll greet patients, review health history, and assist with procedures using iTero and Dentrix. Schedule includes Mon/Wed 7:30am-4:00pm, Tue/Thu 9:00am-6:00pm, Fri 7:30am-1:00pm.

Ideal candidates have dental assisting certification/x-ray credentials as required by state act, strong communication, and organizational skills. Join a stable company with long-term growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders.
