Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Dental Care at Ibis. The role supports clinicians with chairside assist, imaging, patient education, and infection control. You will maintain records, schedule, and ensure safety in a busy practice environment.

The ideal candidate has dental procedures knowledge, certification, and strong communication skills, enabling excellent patient experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and ensure comfort, providing education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital imaging).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidance.
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
