Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• State act requires dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA & CDC safety guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory levels and place orders.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
