Job summary

Metro Dentalcare St. Louis Park, MN, is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join Heartland Dental’s network. The role involves chairside support, x-ray operations, and using Dentrix for scheduling in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates will hold Minnesota dental assistant licensure, with x-ray certification if required, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minnesota dental assisting license required.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification if required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history for quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms per safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies, inventory, and order expediting.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
