Badger Hills Dental Care in Rochester, MN is looking for a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team under Heartland Dental’s support network.

The role involves greeting patients, reviewing health histories, taking and processing x-rays, providing four-handed chairside assistance, using Dentrix, and maintaining safety protocols. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms with safety protocols per OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Manage supply and inventory levels, and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
