Metro Dentalcare Woodbury, MN is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, review health histories, and provide education throughout treatment. You will take x-rays and use iTero 3D scanning while supporting dentists with four-handed chairside care.

Proficiency with Dentrix, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols are required. Minnesota license (or in process) and HIPAA training are essential, with competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Minnesota dental assisting license or in process of obtaining; x-ray certification if required by state law.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, ensuring comfort and providing education.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures with four-handed dentistry.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflow improvements.
