Heartland Dental's Dental Care at Oakmont in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll work with Dentrix, assist in orthodontics, and help prepare temporary crowns while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience with dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.
• X-ray certification and/or dental assistant certification as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and patient privacy awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital photos).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry).
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols.
• Manage supplies and support Heartland Dental workflows.
