Heartland Dental’s Lake Lavon office in Lavon, TX seeks a Dental Assistant to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art practice focused on patient care. The role supports dentists with four-handed dentistry, handles X-rays with iTero and digital photography, and ensures smooth operations through Dentrix scheduling and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state practice act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures per state practice act.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
