Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Chestnut Hills‑Murrysville. You’ll greet patients, support the dentist with four‑handed dentistry, take x‑rays and 3D scans, and keep the treatment room ready while adhering to safety protocols.

The schedule features Monday to Thursday shifts with varied start times. Pennsylvania radiography qualifications (DANB RHS) are required, along with HIPAA training and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pa. dental radiography qualifications required, including DANB RHS or equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and support their comfort throughout treatment.
• Review health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and 3D scans (iTero).
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room adhering to safety protocols (OSHA/CDC).
• Manage supplies and order expeditiously as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize office workflow.
