Job summary

Heartland Dental’s East Creek Dental Care is hiring a Dental Assistant to greet patients, provide chairside support, and manage a safe, efficient operatory workflow. You’ll take X-rays, review health history, and use Dentrix to schedule and record patient data.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, teamwork, and ongoing training within a large national network. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new team members committed to growth.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification (if required by state law)

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey and educate them throughout treatment
• Review patient health history to provide quality care
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostics (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict safety protocols per OSHA & CDC guidance
• Manage supplies, inventory, and place/expedite orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow
